Why we celebrate Halloween when it is not even part of our Pakistani culture?
Do we want to be diverse or we are just following western culture:hmmm:

I get a kick out of looking at all those creative costumes and kids running around trick and treating.

It's such a fun festival. I love fall, the leaves, the pumpkin, the costumes. It's not just about Halloween but celebrating the season. BTW I also love thanksgiving. My mom and sister do a turkey dinner with all the sides for our entire family.
I don't know if I would take part if i wasn't in a country that celebrated these holidays. It's like celebrating 4th of July.
You can always celebrate Hallodeen and have a nightmare on ilm street - many MSAs do that and talk about the what the Quran says about the time of the Grave.

NJ turkey and 4th of July are country related but hollodeen is something different aye I don't even know the history other than chocolates and candy.:D

Hmmm I dont like Halloween for… you know the trick or treat and all that… where people dress up like Monsters. I admit i dont know why they do it but it’s a bit unnerving.
I dont mind celebrating the Season, or the beauty of life… but I dare say celebrating evil things is a bit odd to me.
Whats deeply disturbing is the thought of idiots who take things to far, especially every Halloween theres always some nutcase that adds real blood to the streets and wh might just have had a bit too much to drink while watching those films.
But on the whole i dont mind it… i guess celebrating death is not so strange.
As a Muslim i’m deeply spiritual and seeing these symbolisms of death I can only smile wryly for secretly I do not believe in death.
Hence I certainly dont celebrate Halooween
