Most of the Muslim kings had only one motto: Farsi: Baber ba aish kosh k alam dobara neest. Urdu:Babar aish kar dunia dubara nahi milay gee. English: Babar have fun , you only live once. All their actions were consistent with their motto.

He also believed in Allah and loved his Son Humayyun....when Humayun was sick and close to death............Zaheerud Din Babar Prayed to Allah to save his Son........and promised to give up drinking alcohol.
Hamayun lived and Babar did give up drinking!
