Holidays in Pak

Just curious but does anybody know if the tailors in Pak close for a month after Eid due to holidays???

See I asked my aunt in Pakistan to get me some clothes however she told my mom that the tailors are all on holiday :mad: and that she would have to get a a a a..ready made :crying: :crying: suit!!!

I don't think they close for a month, but before Eid, they are very busy and then usually our tailors go home to their own towns or villages for the holidays, so they arent around.

Whats wrong with ready made? Unlesss ur a majj who cant fit into anything cute like me :bummer:

Last year, we were in Karachi for 5 days after bakra Eid. Every darzi we went to said they couldn’t take any orders cause all of their staff had gone to Lahore on vacation/for basant and they wouldn’t be back till moharrum. You can find a darzi who will do it … Best Tailors did it for us, after a lot of nakhray from them, and they also screwed up half the suits, but they accepted the work!
