It is a myth that teachers go home loaded. From a class of 25-30, a teacher might get something from 3-5 families…
Teachers don’t expect any gifts from families.
They appreciate if they are gifted something from a family.
Most of the teacher I know do gift children a holiday and end of year gift.
The holiday gift for both teachers and children are not associated with any Christian and/or Jewish traditions, unless the school has a religious affiliation and classify holidays with a religious name.

On Eid, I gifted my son’s teachers shawls as Eid gift. Three of them were Muslims and 1 Jew.

My daughter used to go to a playgroup thing last year and I had no idea that the parents would be so generous with end-of-year presents for the teacher.But they were and I felt a lil bad for not getting her anything esp when the teacher gave a tiny gift to my daughter as well.
Since I am not sure what faith her teachers belong to & I dont even need to know that (the school has no religious affiliations either),so I just mentioned holiday gifts and not exactly Christmas gifts.Something more like a thanks,for the efforts they do or have done for making mine adjust to preschool (it hasn’t been easy..!!).
As of now I am thinking of crafting some cards with her and maybe some GCs to go with that.
