PSA was invited to celebrate a little get together of Holi by ISA. About 40 people were there. A lot of colors, music, food, water, and dance. It was all in open because there was a little swimming pool where other people and I used to throw the girls in :halo: Group dance was fun too. I used to snatch waterguns from little kids and fire water on other people :halo: My hair are all colorful and so is the rest of my body. White shirt became red. Clothes are wet too because girls took revenge when a few of them picked me up and threw me in the water. Boy, was it cold!
Then coming back, some idiot dude in the truck came in our lane and suddenly pushed his brakes and slowed down on highway just to tick us off. Then I changed the lane and when I got on his side, he was laughing. My brothers showed him a birdie (middle finger) and he got mad and started to say something (I am sure they were not nice comments). Ofcourse we cursed back and then speeded up and left him behind.
Now I am tired and sleepy. Will go take shower and get all the color out of my hair and body and then probably go to sleep. Have fun in this thread and do whatever you want.
I don’t hate anyone, especially you two in this case. If I hate you two, I would be locking/deleting/merging and what not to your threads and will ignore your posts
I changed my mind, I am not going to sleep because If I do, then I’ll wake up in the middle of the night and will have to be up til Monday morning
Impulse Now that you’ve made that request, ok I won’t fry you, but I will roast you :halo: This is how I look at it: I didn’t participate in the religious ceremony. All we (Pakistanis) did was that we threw colors on each other and threw water on each other. Islamically speaking, Is mixing of guys and girls bad? Yes. That’s the only bad part but other than that, it was just fun and game. :halo:
Phatima Yes I had fun. I am scared (or should I say I don’t prefer) of fights and that’s usually my last resort. I was driving and was very close to the next car, that’s why I didn’t look at the guy and showed him the birdie, or else I would have. But thanks though
Yaar haven’t you seen any indian films where they celebrate Holi. Let me name some. I think Veer Zaara is one of them. That’s the game where they throw different colors at each other and put colors on each others’ faces? Remember? :halo:
Well, I am sure it has religious purpose behind it. Actual holi was on Good Friday. But they were celebrating it today because we had exams last week and we are done with exams this week. Since most people were free this sunday, they chose to have the function today.
Girls threw so many colors on me that my face was red, green, yellow, and purple at the same time, especially my cheeks and nose because they found it cute :-s I washed it so many times and even took the shower, I still have reddish color on my cheeks because that was the focus point :halo: Although I will look weird in the pics (wet, messed up hair, face like this —> ), I will try to post the pics when I get them.
