Pakistan are even more unpredictable in hockey than in cricket. Perhaps a draw against both Spain and Australia (a win against either would be ideal) and a win against Argentina will see us thru to the semis

Pakistan should have won it right at the end with a goal but missed a golden chance. However Pakistan's fate is still in their own hands but have tough games ahead. One against Australia and one against Argentine. Need at least four points from these games to be sure of qualification for the semifinals.

We usu lose against Spain so 2-all is a very good result. Hope they draw with Australia and beat Argentina to qualify for the semis.

yes pakistan had a good chance to win it right at the end.pak looked nervous defending in the last few mins.but over all a good performance by pak especially in the defence,it could've been a lot worse given pakistans recent performances.

Good point. We have been losing to Spain in crunch matches since dont know how long. Its good we managed to steal points from them and played well. And thats precisely what we need to qualify. win against Argentina and a draw/win against Australia. :k:

may have to win both the last matches now if spain and australia keep winning from now on.australia is the top seed in the tournament ..pakistans last match against them will be tough

I think it was an evenly balanced match against Spain, although I felt a few refereeing decision were very harsh on Pakistan.
Still, in the end a fair result as Spain was the slightly better team

i cant believe that ptv did'nt show the whole match on t.v just 20 mins of it and they are'nt showing the highlights either now..its the world cup for god sake..pakistan goal keeper made some heroic saves after making a mistake earlier on..it was very hard fought
