Hockey, Qualifying tournament for Olympics

Spain scored a magic goal and its all over for Pakistan :frowning:

Well played Spain though :k:

Spain won 3-2

Pakistani forwards never really got a chance to win penanlty corner such was thyer defense. And their goal keeper, my word he saved some clear cut goals..

Actually Spain was highly charged after the terrorist attacks today and they were playing really really good hockey. Pakistan were mostly on the defense

Brilliant…Just brillliant. No penalty corners. :grumpy: and on top of it, no defence in the last moment. Another game Pakistan blew it… Just brilliant. :mad2:

Now, Pakistan is gonna play for third position with India.

PT dont you think that Spain's defence was too tight and two goals they scored in second half were magic?? specially the last one?? :(

It was a great great game of hockey though!!

Another India vs Pak match....I am sick of losing to Pakis.
So India finished 4th.

saby I didn’t watch the game. I was reading the commentary. And when I see a winning goal by Spain in just 150 seconds, it stinks. I don’t care how magical it was but reserve flick sounds really good. :mad3:

IND 2 PAK 4

:jhanda:

Well played.

Kashif Jawad scored a fourth Miraculous goal. It was such a difficult angle, just from the goal line and he hit it precisely..

Over all, pakistan’s performance in this tournament was satisfactory. Too bad we had to counter emotionally charged Spain which played unbelievable hockey. But things surely are better for Pakistan Hockey and they will come home with a medal from Athens.. insha’allah :jhanda:

Don’t put this emotional charge thing, saby. If Spain were so much emotionally charged, why the hell they didn’t beat Netherlands iin the Final? :grumpy:

Like I said million times, it all comes down to crunch time, physical and mental toughness, which Pakistan is lacking despite of hiring the best coach. I am tired of watching Pakistan ending in 2nd place, playing for Bronze Medal for past two years.

Anyway, onto the Olympics. You better not let me down, Pak!
