Champions trophy tournament started yesterday. Pakistan lost to australia 2-3 in a highly entertaining game yesterday.
Today they just drew with Germany 3-3. Germany raced away to a 2-0 lead. Pakistan came level after the break through Sohail Abbas (Who thankfully has reverted his stupid decision to retire) and with just ten minutes to go Pakistan were in teh lead. But right at the end, an awful piece of defending allowed germans to score the equalizer. Pakisan now must win their remaining games to stand a chance for a medal or something. They responded brilliantly today by coming back from two goals down but that last minute equalizer was just inexcusable.
Other teams are Australia, Spain, Netherlands and Argentina.

Although US main hockey diakhney ka mauqa kum hee milta hai but i do follow it and its been Pakistan’s pattern for quite a while now that they lose (or allow opponent to draw) the game in last 10-15 minutes or so! They should learn how to defend last 15 minutes which is do-or-die time slot for team loosing the match.
For this kind of result…you don’t need a coach or a management…and wonderfully…you even don’t need a training…so play hockey for the next 2 years without them…voilá… :k:
PS: I can guarantee you that we will be the world champion again…
Pathetic performance by Pakistan.
This is unbelieveable after two close games against germans and Australians, i think Pakistan’s worst ever defeat was against NewZealand when we lost 1-7 2-3 years ago.
So what could have been the possible reasons why Pakistan got thrashed by this score? Were the players sleeping, wrong tactics, Holland too good for Pakistan etc ??
