I’m sure the root cause of this killing has something to do with the sanctions on Iraq. Most despicable is the gall of these guys stating that they know and are carrying out God’s judgement.
Let me see a show of hands, how many of you think these terrorists are good Muslims.

I've always said that there is no evidence at all that the whole insurgency is once coordinated campaign. Indeed, journalist interviews suggest that it more reflect the French Resistance - disparate groups fighting to accomplish the same goal - expelling an occupying power.
Like the French Resistance, some groups are noble and righteous and others are murderers.

more like some are composed of ordinary Iraqi’s trying to expel an invading enemy and others psy ops by intelligence agencies keen on giving the ‘insurgency’ a bad face and being anti-Iraqi population more than anti-occupying forces..

what ‘foreign’ people? the US controls the country, it controls the borders and it’s got the best damn intelligence paraphernilia known to mankind.. try again and tell us there are poeple crossing borders unbeknowest to the administration..
what other ‘resistance’ movements do u refer to.. i only know of the one where the same ‘foreign mercenaries’ were used by the CIA to fuel the fire that burnt the USSR.. so let’s not assume the CIA doesn’t know how to handle ‘froeign terrorists’..

Jeez. Five replies and not one word in any of them about the poor Ambassador having God's judgment imposed upon him by a bunch of thugs. Whoever it was that determined God's judgment and carried out the sentence, does anyone here find them to be "noble."

that's not even the issue mv.. why would an Iraqi insurgency kill ambassdors from Muslim countries or just plain get involved in thuggish acts? would it help them recruit more people or would it marginalize their efforts to oust an occupying army? you tell me.. then keep a straight face and blame it on the Iraqis.. and not intelligence agencies..

How very naive. And what is so ironic is that hard core conspiracy theorists accuse others of being naive. How has anything these terrorists ever done benefited their cause? They are a bunch of murdering idiot thugs and you think they have some Karl Rove type master plan that only employs tactics that bring about their happy ummah with a happy ending? Tell us these guys are smart, righteous and have a winning track record that indicates they only kill people when it benefits their cause with a straight face.

US should stop mentioning “foreign terrorists” because it confirms world’s belief of US military’s failure. US military is so incompetent and ineffectual that it can’t even secure Iraqi borders from bunch of rag tag terrorists. Shame, shame, shame

If US is so powerful that it can Censor their press release to the extent that we have seen not a single press release from them, dont know about their head, Organization name, and their where abouts, then how come that Resistance Organization of “ordinary Iraqi Poeple” is survivin inthe face of such a POWERFUL ENEMY?
