If I adopt the philosophical position of physicalism and an opponent the “Zombie argument” against physicalism. how can I respond while still maintaining the physical position?

any thoughts?

Though I personally disagree with physicalism, because I don't believe it is wholesome enough to satisfy my sophos ... I can provide you a means to oppose the zombie argument whilst retaining the physicalism position.

All you have to ask if one can 'produce the zombie' in all it's fullness ... You will find there are no examples of 'zombies' these are purely speculative scenarios. Since the scenario lacks the bodyweight then it also lacks it's essence ...

I apologise to ruin this for people who like horror movies ... :)

Re: hmmmm

^ produce a ZOMBIE!.. really?? :chai:

Re: hmmmm

:-)

In philosophy a "Zombie argument" has nothing to do with horrer films & ZOMBIES.

It was a joke at the end ... about the horror movies ...

I was trying to say that even though the zombie argument is in agreement with the physicalism argument the way you can reject the zombie construct is by requesting the 'zombie' to be presented. If it cannot be presented then we cannot deduce that the 'zombie' argument is true.

Re: hmmmm

Have any of you ever taken drugs or gotten drunk to a high degree, then watched video footage of yourself doing things but not acting in a normal way, and never consciously speaking, acting, etc? Zombie effect right there, folks…
