Also, as much as I want to agree with Sadaf, I dont. To me there is no difference between hope and expecs. I would rather be stringy with my hopes/expecs and not get hurt again.

Okay I hope (not expect) this helps u guys to differenciate between hope and expectation.

HOPE - grounds for believing that something good may happen: he does see some hope for the future.

EXPECTATION - a belief that someone will or should achieve something: students had high expectations for their future.
