I have searched this topic may times online and while I have found serval copies of the Hizb itself, I have found very little information on the experience of those who recite it regularly. Perhaps it’s not to be discussed…I dunno. Is there anyone here who recites this hizb regularly and if so…what are its effects/benefits other than protection?
Re: Hizbul Bahr
I never heard this thing before you posted, infact i googled it after reading your post. Does it has any authenticity like via hadith
Re: Hizbul Bahr
Same here. This is the first I've ever heard of it.
Re: Hizbul Bahr
Peace redvelvet,
In short "it is dua of Sufi", most popular in "Sufism and/or Ahl-e-Tasawwaf". One who wants to read this dua must seek permission first from his shaikh (sufi), (Like Chilla kaatna k liyeh apny Imam ya Molvi se Ijazat Lena) i.e., whom he/she follows. Many scholars says the act involved in reading this dua is "innovation" because it is not proved from any hadith and the context of the dua is also considered against the teaching of Holy Quran.
It is also known or there is a similar dua known as "Hizbul Nasr".
Re: Hizbul Bahr
I had never heard of it until I heard of it from here.
Generally speaking, and this is just my personal view, anytime someone says to recite something an x number of times; I have to ask how they reach that conclusion because it's just more likely that I would do it knowing it is found in Quran/Sunnah and/or ahadith, as opposed to because someone said so and they heard someone else say so.
Allah knows best.
