That's fine, but unless they can make a better fist of going after each and every group that claims to speak for Jewish extremism as well (e.g. the Israeli parliament) , then it's likely that there will be more violent backlashes so i suppose we should get used to that too.
A practical first step? How about Ariel Sharon is persuaded by friendly American advisors to start DISMANTLING illegal jewish settlements built on land owned by evicted Palestinians instead of INCREASING them? This would certainly strengthen the hand of liberal muslim regimes and would weaken the attraction of extremists which would surely be a good thing?
