The Establishment of Hizb-ut-Tahrir
Hizb-ut-Tahrir, who carries these thoughts to Muslims, is a political party whose ideology is Islam. Its ideology (adopted way of life) is Islam and its work is politics. It works amongst the Ummah (nation) and together with the Ummah, so as to adopt Islam as her task, and to lead her in restoring the Khilafah that will implement Islam with all its rules.
The establishment of Hizb-ut-Tahrir was in answer to the saying of Allah (swt): “Let there be from amongst you (Muslims) a group that calls for goodness (khair), commands what is right (ma’roof) and forbids what is wrong (munkar). And those are the successful” [TMQ 3: 104]
Its objective is to revive the Islamic Ummah from the severe decline she has reached. It aims also to liberate her from the kufr thoughts, systems and rules, and from the influence and control of the disbelieving states. It also works for establishing the guarded, formed Islamic Khilafah in order to restore the rule of Allah.
