I am simply fed up with these people, need some help guyz. After a discussion with such people, this is what happened to me .,
Has anyone else encountered such pple ?
How do u refute them and there ideology apparently all made up by this guy called Taqiyyud-Din an-Nabahaniyy.

They are confused people!! The idea they are advocating is a political one yet they have their own breed of religion.
In terms of politics, khilafah system has never worked. within 4 khalifahs, the system turned into a monarchy and stayed that way till it's death after WWI. out of the first 4 khalifahs, 3 were killed and thats in the early days of islam!! If you analyse the merits of the system, you will find that democracy is the only practical way to carry out khilafat. Now whether you call your leader PM or khalifah, it doesnt matter.
In terms of their religious beliefs, I don't know too much but I know that they do not believe in Hadees, they believe that until shariah is implemented in a khilafat, you dont have to follow it (they believe things such as purdah only applicable in a shriah govt so until that is established you don't need to follow it).
I think it is dangerous to mix religion with politics as most parties do these days. They sell their religion under the wraps of a idealistic political system, which entices innocent people towards them.

ofcourse this she'r means that if politics is freed from religion (i.e. politics of irreligious people) than they become like changez khan....
and does not mean that if religion is free of politics it wud be changezi....
just thought i'd clarify it for ppl who might get confused....
The HT was initially very active at my university, (as it is at most UK universities).
My university's Islamic society had strong religious issues objections to the HT , maintaining that whilst the goal of the HT, the restoration of the Khilafat, is correct, they means through which they try to achieve this, and their position on a number of theological issue, was incorrect.
In the period that I was at university, from 1999-2002, the Islamic Society managed to reduce the influence of the HT from around a dozen or two members with a large sympathiser base to about 3 members with just a handfull of sympathisers.
A number of my friends who were involved with the HT ceased their involvement after holding discussions with senior members of the Islamic Society.
Their is some of these fools on this forum. I stay away from heavy religion. Its a 1-1 issue between man (and woman) and God-no one should plug their own faith.

I have met them and what you say i have never heard them say
The issue of calling kafir is a dangerous concept and if anyone said that then they are treading on thin ice because muhammad(saw) said if somebody calls somone a kafir i.e then one of the 2 is.
the issue of ameer this incorrect they never said u need an ameer to me they said what is the correct method and ask me to look at all methods past and today study them and find out why they have failed, they base idea on life of prophet muhammad(saw) and call for the establishment of islamic state which no muslim would disagree with well none that i have met anyway. I asked them do i need a scholar opinion they said up to you need to check quran and islamic evidence and if you not sure then ask someone who has more knowledge.
There ideology not made up from a guy called nabhanni, the evidence for islamic state is from quran and life of muhammad(saw) if it was made up by some guy then it would have many flaws.

Well i am based in Denmark and I must say they are very very active at all uniz here esp. our main DTU ( Danish Technical University) . May be u havnt met the real xtreme nut cases. But really they are very quick jumping at conclusions and accuse u of all sort of things. Infact if u dont do thingz there way they would say everything u do in x, y, z is haram. My dads best freinds son has just been brainwashed into this sect and i must say , to start with hes losT all respct for his Paretnts.
May Allah keep us away from such evil characters.

They in denmark too subhanallah.
Respect for parents is important, you can only disobey them if they commit haram and ask you to commit haram.
Shadizz , well i have been to some shaddizz and from my experience including my own relatives they not islamic in some situations because they free mixing between man and women, and they not covered properly. The pakistani weddings i used to go to look very similar to indian/hindu style wedding which is shame. If the people don't understand then they need to have explanation about this.
Nationalism is disease and ugly sister of racism. No muslim should be nationalist it is big disease that divides muslim people that why you got paks not liking bangledesh and vice versa arab not liking turks and vice versa you get the picture. Swearing at country does'nt get anywhere better to explain why nationalism is problem no point swearing at country.
Kill a jew and you get swabb I think this totally inaccurate. You only get swabb if they killed in occupied land like palestine and last time i looked denmark is not occupied muslim land.

who decides what is Haram ? ., According to them anything they dont like is Haram. Forexample celebrating birthday is HARAm. How can they sit and give such fatwaZ.
The thing about mixing u mentioned I simply dont inderstand. These guyz are unwilling to eneter a place where there are females ONLY and i repeat ONLY when there is a function ( Like a shadi or birthday or soemthing) ., they wouldnt mind interacting with girls outside but whithing family/cousins and friends its all UNofficial. Well i have already stated what i know, if an individual behaves hypocritically then it is the individual you should'nt label eneire section of people if 1 or 2 individual is behaving in certain way.
I was at a talk given by certain islamic group from saudi talking about smoking and it is haram next minute i see 1 guy smoking. Does it mean i should accuse whole of this organisation.
As for issue of haram and halal you have been given brain by allah(swt) you can read evidence if somethign is haram and halal you can bring the eveidence.
I think eemo stated you encounter some fake group, this is possibility also.
