Very valid point. Not that the level of violence in Kashmir is anywhere near as bad as Palestine. And also unlike Palestine, the issue of Kashmir on paper still has every chance of getting peacefully resolved. Of course mighty ifs and buts are attached to it, but there is some hope. Imagine if the issue of Kashmir starts getting mainstream attention? I can bet any money if Pakistanis start actively campaigning for the issue of Kashmir, you’ll still have to face an army of antipathetic naysayers going all ‘oh why Pakistanis are talking about Kashmir, when they have enough problems in their own country’ or ‘oh why are Pakistanis so concerned about Kashmir when we also have issues in Syria, Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Lebanon etc’. ‘Why are Pakistanis so worried about Kashmir, what have Kashmiris done Nigerian Muslims?’ Or the real snarly gem: 'Pakistanis are fraud and bad Muslims and they only care about Kashmir simply coz they don’t like Indians and that’s no right blah blah blah. There will always be people trying to distract and discredit a cause. There’d never be an end to it. You really cannot please everyone nor you can practically talk about issues concerning all Muslim countries at one time and in one go.
You’d be surprised how many Muslims hold absolutely massive and deeply rooted grudge against Pakistanis and Pakistan for being a nuclear armed nation with sixth largest army yet not coming to any Muslim country’s rescue. Certain fractions from Muslims countries hate Pakistanis for being too ‘nationalistic’ and not doing enough about the ‘Ummah’. You see? So really, there’s no way you can please everyone, and it’s pretty pointless to do since people just want to see quick, instant, picture perfect perfection amongst Muslims and they’re simply not allowed to do one positive thing at time.
