Whats the roots of sacrifice in history?
I read somewhere that almost all parts of the world, human sacrifice was norm, which was eventually replaced with animal sacrifice.

No LP.. Have you read Arabs history before Islam? What were the rituals about sacrifice? How they change with the introduction of Islamic teachings?
My next question is why people feel satisfied by killing animals or in some parts humans to make gods happy?

we hear of honor killings ,drone attacks etc etc.

It is my understanding that this practice started when Rajput women chose to give up their lives rather than be abused by the Muslim foes.
what about satti in hindu culture, tht was also done to please to GOD or what? can that be included in this?
