What about banker’s profession? How it developed? My economics teacher told us the story of the banker (Jew) whom with people use to deposit their valuables and get receipt from the Jew which later evolved in present day credit system?

Yes banking is comparatively a new profession, but I think Hindus were more experienced than Jews, when we talk of lending / borrowing.. Even todate, Sindhi Hindus provide loans to individuals in rural Sindh.
