The last thing the âi-can-explain-the-Qurâan-better-than-the-Prophetâ brigade will want to do is fall back on manuscripts, their ages and modes of transmission⌠theyâve probably fallen flat on their faces too many times with that line of argument vis-a-vis Qurâan and hadithâŚ
The way to read namaz was taught by Prophet Mohammad saw. I don't think all the positions and other stuff is mentioned in Quran but what I came across the other while reading Quran meaning was that "stand for prayer as a servant stands infront of his maalik" which is with your arms tied or crossed or held together (whatever that position is called). Shiias don't hold their hands infront. Everyone else does.
