History of Pashtuns series

Re: History of Pashtuns series

Even most of the indian historians dont accept this maratha claim. You are a troll so you are posting one wikipedia article after another (which can be edited by any one) but on serious note you shouldnt say such stuff infront of a sikh. Sikhs feel very offended when some marathas falsely claim that they conquered attock and peshawer before sikhs. A baloch like you shouldnt claim sikh's victories and glories in the early 19th century, considering the fact that sikhs conquered baloch areas of south punjab without any resistance while it took 17 years for ranjeet singh to wrest multan from durranis, after many failed attempts. Balochs of south punjab were subjects of Afghans of multan then they bowed their heads to sikhs and british without any resistance. Sikhs and Pashtuns had history since 18th century. In 18th century, organized and united pashtuns defeated disorganized and disunited sikhs who relied on guerrella warfare. While in early 19th century , organized and united sikhs of ranjeet singh defeated disunited and disorganized pashtun tribes. Sikhs and pashtuns admit bravery of each other, but believe me you balochs were nobodies. It was very easy for ranjeet singh to conquer sindh and balochistan but its afghan tribes who were posing threat and contineously engaged his armies. So our wars with sikhs saved you balochs from sikhs. But its a fact that ranjeet singh met no resistance from baloch tribes of south punjab. Only Afghans of multan and mankera were threat to sikhs in south punjab.

Re: History of Pashtuns series

Balochs have never any kingdom or independent state in their history, throwing mud at others and creating false history wont make you shiny. Sikhs had an empire but they lost their state in 1849 to british, while Afghans still have their own state. Balochs on the other hand, were always subservient to persian, turkic, afghan, mughal and british rulers. It was not an agricultural and rich land so foriegn rulers instead allowed local rulers who had to pay annual tribute. Even the semi-independent tributary vassal state of kalat was not founded by a baloch, but by a brahui. Clever Dravidian bruhais ruled over balochs and are nowadays are claiming baloch identity to legitimize and justify their centuries long rule over balochs. @Mir_Baloch believe in martial race of british but in their case non-martial dravidian race of bruhis became lords and masters of baloch. Not just brahuis, a very small tribe of pashtuns, barozai of sibi who are sub-tribe of panni, established their rule over sibi, mastung and bolan. On one occassion khan of kalat assembled large army of balochs and tried to capture bolan pass, but their entire army was slaughtered by a lashkar of tareens. On another occasion, barozais defeated kalat and laid waste to the area. The same barozais, in alliance with kalhoras, subjugated marris and bugtis and extracted tribute from them. In another tribal war, lunis and jafars, slaughtered half of marri tribe.

**Mazari Baloch Tribe War With Sikh Empire in Rojhan Tehsil in Rajanpur District of Punjab Pakistan **

**In 1836, Mithankot, by then a strong Sikh garrison fortress, was attacked by the Mazari Baloch tribal forces under the command of Sardar Karam Khan, the younger brother of the Mazari Chief Sardar Mir Bahram Khan. The attack came as retaliation to Raja Kharak Singh’s constant threats to the Mazari stronghold of Rojhan Mazari. Many lives were lost and the garrison along with the city was completely burnt down. All the prisoners taken by the Mazari tribesman were later skinned alive and burnt near the city. A few days later the Sikhs under the command of Raja Kharak Singh retaliated and attacked the Mazari Stronghold of Rojhan and managed to burn it down but the Sikh army was quickly engaged by the forces of Sardar Mir Bahram Khan and driven back towards Mithankot. Despite, suffering a major loss in terms of property, only a handful of Mazaris lost their lives as the news of the attack had reached the court of the Mazari Sardar a few days earlier thereby eliminating the element of surprise. These events led to regular skirmishes between the Mazari and the Sikh forces resulting in loss of life on both sides. Then finally in early 1838, a deal was brokered between Sardar Mir Bahram Khan Baloch and Maharaja Ranjeet Singh which led to an armistice that was signed by the Chief’s younger brother Sardar Karam Khan and Diwan Sawan Mal, the Maharaja’s Governor of Multan. Later that year Sardar Mir Bahram Khan along with twelve thousand Mazari Tribesman, court officials and notables visited Lahore on the invitation of Maharaja Ranjeet Singh. The Mazari’s were well received by the Maharaja at the Lahore Fort and given a royal welcome. The Maharaja had the Mughal era Naulakha Pavilion(saman Burj) inside the Lahore Fort specially renovated for the month long stay of Sardar Mir Bahram Khan Mazari. This meeting between the two leaders officially brought an end to the long war between the Sikh Maharaja and the Mazari Baloch Sardar that started with the attack at Mitankot.

Re: History of Pashtuns series

at that time marri and bugti were not in sibi stupid marri bugti came later in sibi only rind and domki were there who also supported barozai afghans against khan of kalat thats why barozai were able to resist khan of kalat cause barozai had baloch backing but still at the end barozai afghans were kicked out from bolan by khan of kalat and khan of kalat noori naseer khan subdued them completely in sibi too and they used to pay us tribute ever since they have been ruled by the great baloochs

Re: History of Pashtuns series

There are plenty of websites and wikis about sikh history, run by sikhs themeselves , no one mention your fake and fabricated history of mazaris. Go check sikh sources by yourself. Despite of the bias, on the other hand sikh sources do mention that they met tough resistance from scattered afghan colonies in punjab like kasur, multan, maler kotla, sirhind etc

Re: History of Pashtuns series

first of all kalhora were against barozai and baloch both so dont lie and second baloch have never been defeated by tareens in bolan so absolute fabrication
