can someone please post a link to the historical background of the current palestinian conflict. its not like the jews just came in took over. if anyone can shed some light on the ottoman empire, and what happened after the world wars.
from what i’ve gathered, ottoman empire sided with germany and italy, basically got its ass kicked, and got occupied.
and please, i don’t want conspiracy theories, just the historical facts …

I just re-read that thread. It was a beautiful thread and reading it again brought tears to my eyes.

Actually, MV, I remembered that specific thread due to your wonderfully detailed account of the events - and, I found it by searching for posts by myvoice mentioning Palestine!
I'm afraid a dynamic schedule, along with massive computer problems, have made a "reader", and not a "poster" as of late. (Surely to the joy of many!)
The schedule remains as hectic, however, a blazing new CPU may allow me the luxury of once again participating in these discussions!
However, working today, just 100 miles from home, with a showtime of 7:30! On the road. again! As long as they spell my name right on the check!
