History of Pakistan since 3000 BC

Re: History of Pakistan since 3000 BC

And yet another one. Every Indian I meet claims to really be from Pakistan. Its getting tiring to listen to mate.

And seriously, there is no way of telling that anyones ancestry is from Porus.
Porus Kingdom was entirely in Pakistan, you simply cant claim it on any grounds.

There is no need to throw political meanings around. When I say history of Pakistan, what do you think I actually mean? Of course I mean the history of the Pakistani people.
If you want to make this political to label this history as "Indian", then dont expect to be taken seriously.

Do you know how many countries gained independence the last century?
Afghanistan is by no means an ancient nation, and the term "Iran" is also recent, yet you only have a problem with Pakistan.

Pakistani citizens are not "Afghan" or "Indian", they are** Punjabis, Sindhis, Pashtun, Kashmiris and Baluchis.** And correct me if I am wrong, but these ethnic group outnumber their counterparts in all neighbouring nations. Not to mention these ethnic groups are tiny minorities in Iran and India, so you cant claim Pakistanis to be "Indians" or anything else. We have out own identity. Deal with it.

Re: History of Pakistan since 3000 BC

Hello again!

That would make it Punjabi history, Sindhi history etc, Not Pakistani history.

Of course you have your own identity...what has that to do with history?

BTW Punjabis and Kashmiris are not tiny minorities in India. As you know we have states called Punjab and J&K which is full of them.

Re: History of Pakistan since 3000 BC

Once again, the history belongs to the Pakistani people. We can name it after ourselves if we wish. It shouldnt be any of your concern. And Muslim Punjabis dont claim history which happened in India, even with a shared ethnic group. Please return the favour.

Re: History of Pakistan since 3000 BC

dude.. my surname is chadha and i am punjabi kukhrain. For your knowledge kukhrains were orginated from behra, punjab which is in pakistan now. Porus was also a kukhrain and was ruling that area.
After the partition my family moved from lahore to indian punjab.
Here is something for u to read

Re: History of Pakistan since 3000 BC

You will find that nobody cares about your origins.
Just because of 1947 political history and some migrations, it wont make ancient Pakistani history Indian. You might be of Pakistani origin, but you wont be able to relabel our history because of your political views.

All that took place on Pakistani land is Pakistani. We dont need any Hindutva propaganda to promote that Indians across the border who have never set a foot in Pakistan have some kind of right to its lands or history.
Indian belong and always have belonged to what is now India. It doesnt make sense for them to have any right over Pakistani history.

Re: History of Pakistan since 3000 BC

u said my words just because of 1947 migration it wont make it yours too.

Re: History of Pakistan since 3000 BC

The history has ALWAYS been ours. Just because Pakistanis are Asian, doesnt mean the history belongs to every Asian. Modern Indians have nothing to do with Pakistan history. If you want to mess around with a misleading term, so be it. Still doesnt change anybodys genetics.

Between 1859 and 1947, we shared the name "India". On that basis you think Pakistanis and Indians have the same ancestors?

Re: History of Pakistan since 3000 BC

its waste arguing with folks like u!!u think what ever u want

Re: History of Pakistan since 3000 BC

lol, arguing with people like me? Of course Pakistanis will fight for whats theirs. Do you see Pakistanis claiming history of South Indians or the Assamese? Return the favour.
This argument is about you Indians thinking that Pakistan belongs to you. It has always belonged to Pakistanis and always will.

Re: History of Pakistan since 3000 BC

we have no problem with identity issues son. Its ur group who always want to parrot some cooked up history to show how Pakistan always existed. Get a life and move on.

Re: History of Pakistan since 3000 BC

I didnt say Pakistan always existed, I said the history which happened on that land belongs to Pakistanis, and not modern Indians. This would make sense to most people with half a brain.

For some idiotic reason you seem to think that Pakistani ancestors are somehow yours too. Which would mean that you clearly have some major identity crisis.

I can raise this issue with Pakistanis on a Pakistani forum if I wish. It shouldnt concern you. Clearly the people who need to get a life are Indians on a Pakistani forum trying to cram in their Hindutva version of history. i.e Pakistanis were created in 1947, so technically we dont have any grand parents. Yeah, makes total sense.
