yeah....but at times it makes me wanna hurl....im not too fond of the road going down to khushab/jaurabad...alwasy makes me wanna puke (i get car sick)....
so where are u at now?

i love that road too, i took so many pics of that road last year :p but i guess its different if you drive. Try doing that, you will enjoy it.

great! i posted some of my pics on soon valley in the gallery section of GS..in fact , i even had my wedding there...the barat came from isb to khura..it was really cool...especially when they filmed it for the movie...

The Soon Valley is situated between the hills in the Salt Range. The area comes under the administrative control of Khushab District of Punjab Province, in Pakistan. Historically this might have been the extreme end of the region in which the Gandhara art flourished before the arrival of Awan tribes. The valley was a part of the state under the rule of Junjua Rajputs . They were forcibly ousted by the Awan tribes. The Awans, claim that their ancestor, Qutub Shah came along with the army of Sultan Mahmood of Ghazna in the 14th century . He headed Some troops of Alavids who had been given the title, "Awan" by the Sultan

Hi peeps,
Im an Awan living at Singapore. My dadz village is at Attock and my mum also has her relatives there so im guessing im a thoroughbred Attocki gurl :-)

So far ive found out that my forefathers were the Arabs and hv a link to Hazrat Ali lineage...enywayzz...I wonder if anyone has more info abt the origin of Awans
