The Wahabi and Neo wahabi way of thinking as originally propagated by Ibn Taymiya continued by Sayud Qutb and now acted upon by the likes of Al Qaeda is that Islam should return to a state where nothing besides Allah has any value.
However this way of thinking ignores the centuries of Islamic wisdom that has been inherited by Muslims across the world who have learned many things from the feet of Sufi saints and other Allah Wallay.
I find it incredible that the Wahabi views are spreading so fast and the ignorance and intolerance threatens to wipe out centuries of hard work on the part of learned sufi's.
