**Baloch Soldiers in British Army
The majority of Baloch in colonial Balochistan were opposed to British colonial rule and refused to serve in the British Indian Army. However, some Baloch did take advantage of the career opportunities offered by the British Army and joined the British Army cause of Poverty and distinguished themselves in military service especially in the First World War 1914-1918. Here we share with you some images of Baloch soldiers from Balochistan who served in the British Indian Army. Most of these pictures were taken in Quetta Balochistan and the Murdar Hills can be seen in the background

**Mir Dost Mohammad Khan Baranzai Baloch was the ruler of Western Balochistan From 1920 to 1928, when the Persian army occupied the western part of Balochistan with the help of British under the command of Reza Khan and Amanullah Jahanbani.

**Mir Jalal khan Borhanzai Baloch martyred when the “Borhanzai Rind Baloch”, “Liberated This Castle From the persian Army .
Shahid Mir Jalal Khan Borhanzai was the son of " Mir Ghasem Khan Borhanzai Rind Baloch -SORAPI-PAHRAHI”.
**this castle has been bult by “Nasser aldin Ghajar”, and that’s why it is known as “Ghale’ Nasseri”.
this is my home town “Pahrah” (Balochi name ) and the new name is “Iranshahr” which is a Persian name.

**When King Mir Chakar Rind left balochistan for ever on 15th April 1512 and went to Multan then he migrated to satgara. King Beejar Meerwani baloch son of King Omar Meerwani baloch came in the appropriate and mature age to take over his throne . After King Chakar Rind and Gohram Lashari balochistan was in worse conditions due 30 years civil wars between Rind and Lasharis . Ameer E Beejar Meerwani Baloch united His Commanders.Ameer E Beejar Meerwani baloch’s cousin Meer Zagar , Meer Zarak and Meer darak marched a huge baloch army from Sindh toward Kalat and His relatives Meer Gorganth , Meer Thoho , Meer Qalander , Meer Halaa , Meer Ahmed , Meer Mehrab and Meer Mengal marched a huge baloch army from Farah (Afghanistan) passing from Noshki toward Kalat .On 18th December 1512 Meer Raisan Gorani baloch and his son in Mongochar with a Massive army for the arrival of Ameer E Beejar Meerwani baloch. Meer Raisan Gorani baloch was the incharge of Mongochar , Chappar and Ziarat near kalat lands of Meerwani’s at Ameer E Omar Meerwani time. These three armies united in Mongochar and Marched towards Kalat under the command of Ameer E Beejar Meerwani baloch . On 23 December 1512 Ameer E Beejar Meerwani baloch with His Massive army captured Kalat city after an intense bloody battle and Meer Mando Rind’s army was defeated. Ameer E Beejar Meerwani baloch became king of Balochistan on 23 December 1512. After being Ameer E Balochistan , Ameer E Beejar Meerwani baloch decide to take His father Ameer E Omar Meerwani’s Revenge from Jadgal . A huge war errupted between Ameer E Beejar Meerwani baloch and Jadgals on 31 December 1514 in Surab .Jadgals were defeated and Surab city was captured . After 5 years on 2nd January 1519 2nd war started in Khuzdar and Jadgal was defeated . Khuzdar , Nal , Hazarganji , Ornach and Wadh was captured by Ameer E Beejar Meerwani baloch and his army. After the 3rd war between Ameer E Beejar Meerwani baloch and Ameer Yousaf Jamot Jadgal , Jagdal Fully surrendered to Ameer E Beejar Meerwani baloch and a boder line was made between Jalawan and Lasbela . Ameer E Beejar Meerwani baloch conquered a huge area which was distributed between all Baloch tribes. After Jagdal war Ameer E Beejar Meerwani baloch cleaned his country from all the invaders and made a powerful unity and tribel system for baloch nation . On 27 November 1530 Ameer E Beejar Meerwani baloch went to Makka for Hajj after 2 year he came to balochistan .On 9th December 1537 Ameer E Beejar Meerwani baloch died in Kalat and He had no sons . According to His Will his cousin Ameer E Zagar Meerwani baloch ,who was grand son of Ameer E Qamber Meerwani baloch became king of Balochistan.
