I'd definitely agree with it. The same incident that occurred decades ago, doesn't have to repeat the same exact way. There will be some sort of variation, of course. But it will merely correspond to the former event, infused with different origins, discrete settings and divergent characters. Therefore, resulting in similar consequences that were faced centuries ago.
