If we see the history of the subcontinent and especially the areas forming Pakistan now, it has over a period of time been part of persian empires or under the control of Afghan rulers or other invaders who used Afghanistan to attack these areas. The invaders that crossed the Khyber pass included Alexander, Huns, Scythians, Kushans, Moghuls etc. Scholars like Shah Shams Tabrezi was a Persian and if we try to explore Lahore which is now called data ki nagri, but data sb. was actually born in Ghazni Afghanistan in 990 AD.

Yes even most revered saint of Sindh Qalandar Shahbaz was from Marvand, Afghanistan.. Shah Abdul Lateef Bhittai was a Syed, whose ancestors migrated from Herat, Afghansiatn after Amir Timur’s attack.
