Some letters changed history. Some letters tell us more about historical personalities.
Lets talk about such letters in this thread.
I start with letters written by Prophet to rulers of neighboring countries for preaching Islam.

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
From Muhammad, Prophet of Allah to Kisra, King of Fars
May peace be on him who follows the guidance, believes in Allah and his Prophet. I testify that there:is none worthy of worship except Allah, who is alone and without an associate and Muhammad is His Servant and Prophet. Allah has made me a Prophet and sent me for the entire world, in order that I may infuse the fear of Allah in every living person. Accept Islam and be secure. If you refuse, the sins of all the Zoroastrians shall be your responsibility.

The Emperor flew into rage and tore it up tore the letter to pieces and rudely turned Abdullah out of his court.
When Abdullah returned to Madina and related his experience, the Holy Prophet (S) was displeased and cursed Khusro saying,
***"O Lord! Break his kingdom into pieces."
Meanwhile, the arrogant Emperor sent a letter to the ruler of Yemen, who was under him, ordering him to send some men to capture the Holy Prophet (S) and bring him to his court.
Accordingly, two officers from Yemen came to Madina to carry out his orders. When they saw that the Holy Prophet (S) had the powerful support of the Muslims, they realised that they had no chance of capturing him.
However, they informed the Holy Prophet (S) of their orders and warned him of the consequences of displeasing the powerful Emperor of Iran. In reply the Holy Prophet (S) told them that Khusro Parvez had just been killed by his own son, Shirviyah, who was now the new Emperor.
The Holy Prophet (S) then advised them to tell the people of Yemen to come out of Iranian control and come towards Islam. The officers were so impressed with the miraculous knowledge of the Holy Prophet (S) that they accepted Islam on the spot and later many people from Yemen also became Muslims.

Hazrat Suleman AS letter to queen Saba.
Hazrat suleman AS wrote the letter to the queen of Saba, which read. This latter is from Suleman (A.S.). In the name of Allah, the beneficent, the merciful; The real Deen Is the obedience of Allah. Man has not been created to worship such things as the sun and The moon. He should worship such only Allah and this is our message also. Don’t venture to fight against me in response to this message but the course of peace and security for you is to embrace Islam, accept Allah as your Lord and obey Him as He alone deserves Worship. He created man. If you agree with me, come over here as a Muslim.
