America dropped more bombs on Vietnam than the entire WW2, which killed millions of people, and devestated the entire country. I would not be surprised if some had absolutely no problem with dropping (nuclear) bombs on people who displayed this type of barbarity?

^^ Reza, remember the Russians? The people who invaded Afghanistan? Godless communists? The Chinese engineered the Korean war and had designs on the entire region. Yes, the US fought Godless communist expanisionism for nearly 50 years, in many places. How does Islam, (or Christianity for that matter) fare under Communism? We were the only alternative. The one consistant theme to US "aggression" is that we have constantly challenged totalitarian regimes. No apologies.

The Japanese army’s barbarity oftentimes disgusted even the Nazis . One Nazi official actually pleaded to Hitler for intercession. One should read “Rape of Nanking” by Iris Chang to get a better understanding.

And those of you who are criticizing the way war was conducted by the Americans should remember that the timeline was 1945, not 2005. Indiscriminate bombing of cities was normal part of warfare. The bombing of Dresden was worse.
The hypocrisy in this forum is unbeliveavle. Close your eyes and imagine it is 1945. Imagine we have an atom bomb, and the Indians dont; but they are fighting savagely to hold on to Kashmir. If we choose to fight along conventional lines, half our milirary will be obliterated. Are we going to blink even once before dropping one in New Delhi???

It's just amazing to me that people ignore two facts.
1) World War II killed nearly 50 MILLION people in six years. Ask yourself what it takes to kill 50 million people. The ruthless bloodthirsty regimes that were defeated created these war deaths. Germany by invading neighboring countries, and Japan by invading neighboring countries. These were not wars of liberation, they wanted to enslave the people, rape the natural resouces and declare themselves superior humans. The horror in all of this is totalitarian countries that can wash the entire world in blood. Think about the big picture, 50 Million people.
2) Despite the froth over Nagasaki and Hiroshima, India and Pakistan not three years ago were rattling nuclear sabres at each other. Iran is laughing at the world as they build their bomb. Pakistani scientists do more to undermine proliferation efforts than any effort in the past 50 years and he is a hero of your country.
And you want to point at US about ending a brutal war while the Muslim world is furiously building nuclear weapons? Geez..... the hypocrisy is so thick you can cut it with a knife.
And Reza, concentrate on the topic. The "One Picture equals a thousand words" propaganda technique is best used on the illiterate. Shall we show pictures of Beslan? Children intentionally slaughtered by Islamic fighters?

og your consistent defence of nuclear bombings of japan is a joke by your own argument Iraq have the right to get nuclear weapons because millions of there people have been killed by US thuggery and therefore the iraqis have the right to bomb the US several times over!
