Man you gotta be out of your mind if you like Fat Boy Slim, Do you even know what hip hop is? Ever seen his videos? Low Budget $ .99 crap, and by the way name one skill fat boy slim has other then jumping around like an idiot in his videos.

I'm personally not much familiar with hip-hop or rap (they are the same, right? correct me if I'm wrong) music. I recently got into American music as a matter of fact... started with Stones and Beatles and love their stuff and want to listen to some other diverse music. Hip hop/rap is one of them but one of the reasons I never got into was that the rap music I've heard by chance had obscene words in it and I personally don't like that. But I am sure there is some good rap/hip hop music out there which is really enjoyable. What do you guys suggest where I should start from? I hear the name fundamentalist and some others. Which of their albums you guys suggest that you think is their best work and I should listen to?

Hip Hop and Rap are almost the same thing, I don't know anything about fun-da-mental and since you don't like Explicit nature of Hard Core Rap you can start by listening to hmmm Will Smith (Big Wille Style) and Jermaine Dupri (Life in 1472) that's all i can think of right now ...
