hip dysplasia

Just wanted to let you know that this can be a really common issue amongst breech baby girls, first-borns in particular. Correcting it in the first couple of months is pretty simple, but if it gets identified later on (even at 6 months), it can mean fully harnessing the baby, and that’s pretty miserable. It’s worth bringing up with your pediatrician.

We were able to get Bunny into Children’s Hospital here in DC and she came back all clear (AH), but we do have further checks, just to make sure.

Re: hip dysplasia

^ my daughter ended up being fine. Do mention it to the doctor if you are concerned. It’s not obvious to us average people, but a trained doctor will know what to look for.
