Re: Hindustani women fight 'Eve teasing'
whatever you say, o bihari inbred idiot.
Re: Hindustani women fight 'Eve teasing'
What is cool is that there is an organization there fighting it. Somehow, in your attempt to villify Pakistan's neighbor to make Pakistani's look like masoom saints, you forgot that.
Re: Hindustani women fight ‘Eve teasing’
Its amazing to read your comments. No Pakistani women has ever complained to this magnitude even though they live in that country. It is only these American hybride confused Pakistani with lost identity who do so. I don’t know what you do there which attracts so many Pakistani men.
I wonder why those guys were not able to grope ladies of other ages? Why only 12 years old? I guess this would be more pleasureable to groupe a little higher age group.
You statements, appears highly exaggerated and baseless.

And i'm continuously amazed at reading your comments. I am not the first or the last woman who's ever complained, nor do I stick my head in the sand like you do. Just because i'v enever heard complaints from friends or family or experienced things here, i'm not stupid enough to believe it never happens. I don't need to hear personal anecdotes to know what is happening. That's what maeks you and I different.
As i recall not once have I insulted you personally , or insulted your national/ethnic/religious identity as you have done to me.

These things do happen in Pakistan. The reason for attacking the younger members of the society I guess would be the children are too scared/confused to retaliate.
Re: Hindustani women fight 'Eve teasing'
These things happen everywhere...unfortunately.
Re: Hindustani women fight 'Eve teasing'
err..to the thread starter - sexual harassment is a universal phenomenon if u must know, good on indian women if they're fighting it. thanks for helping spread the good message.
Re: Hindustani women fight 'Eve teasing'
This situation is not as bad in Pakistan as a lot of you are describing. I mean the problem is there too but not up to that level like its in India or a lot of other countries. In US alone, it is so bad. There are tons of cases everyday here - with all age groups.
Don't compare Pakistan to India or any other country because we still are far better. Think of both sides in Pakistan. We still have a majority of people there who respect women. Don't just follow what you read in western media. Go & see yourself.

These can roam around in New York in tight genes and whatever, but doing so in Pakistan will give different results.

May be your relatives are too scared to tell the truth to the men, or may be the fear of being lynched by its own family stops them from telling the truth. Anyway, In Lahore there is an incident like this happening every day and mind you the victims are women and girls totally covered and non are wearing any tight jeans. We own a few shops in historical Lahore, and not a day passes by when we don’t see a women or girl complaining and shouting about this, and the thing gets worse when peak shopping season is near.
In our society, its hard enough for a girl to shout and complain in a situation like this, but still you hear a voice here and there, but no reprieve.
Anyway, you can continue your Jihad against India.
CB, so how bad is it in Pakistan, do you have a way to quantify all this? The reason its seems so bad in US is because the incidents are reported, where as thats not the case in Pakistan.
This india-centric mind set is not going help Pakistan in any aspect.
Re: Hindustani women fight 'Eve teasing'
i cant believe so many of you think Pakistan is the worst place in the world.
Re: Hindustani women fight 'Eve teasing'
Pakistan is not so bad, but its the matter of "until you do not acknowledge there is a problem how can you cure it?"
So its just acknowledgement that this happens in Pakistan as much as anywhere else in the world. And kicking eve teasers in the Balls is the solution.

Quit living in a bubble! I can't believe how deaf you are to the complaints of Pakistani women in Pakistan! Open up any Pakistani newspaper and women's magazine (i.e. Jang, You, She, etc), and a very common topic is...."EVE TEASING." (They even use that term for it). This topic is discussed often in the papers, on TV...talk about not paying attention! My parents are from Pakistan, and it was a very common occurrence for my mother and her sisters and friends to try to protect themselves as they took the bus to college. You can't go to a bazaar without hearing a crude remark, being pinched on the bum, or being "brushed" against. They target younger girls because those young girls can't make a scene about it and will keep quiet. The older women are more likely to hit you back nowadays. My mom once ended up punching a guy and knocked him down after he tried to touch me once in a bazaar in Pakistan. My khala beat a guy with her purse on a bus she was on, when he attempted to touch her. A cousin of mine was pinched on her bum as she went to a bazaar.
As far as dowry burnings go, there are more in India, but plenty in Pakistan. You are soooo ignorant--do you even read the newspaper? "Stove patth gaya" and "acid" stories are everywhere! I never understood why only daughter in laws are ever injured when the "stove patth na" accidents...never the mother in law, a naukrani, or anyone else. I once went to the hospital to visit a cousin after her surgery. In the next room was a woman who was severely burned after her "stove exploded." Of course, her mother in law was sitting right beside her to make sure she kept her mouth shut. One beggar at Data Darbar was so burned--I asked her what happened. She looked down and then to the side, and said "stove patth gaya." Jeez, this doesn't happen anywhere else....I really recommend you start reading the newspaper and stop playing so many video games to get an idea of what social ills are in Pakistani society.

First of all, I am not here to even argue with a Valaiti confused girl who seems to be from the same lot. I am not even sure what you do in Pakistan which attracts so many bad people around you. You are not to point fingers at Pakistan before you look at the place where you live in. Where women are brought into pubs and dance clubs, where women are lured into all sorts of promiscuity in the name of women freedom, where sex with consent is okay in all means, and where women are abused and used by men to gratify their illegimate sexual desires, where gang rapes are giving beautiful names of "Orgies" etc etc, and you point fingers at a country where a big majority of women belong to reasonable respected families. You need to look at yourself first where you live and what kind of society you are a part of before you point any finger at Pakistan. You have no right to defmae Pakistani women and infuse wrong image in the minds of the readers. When you make a comparison, you are spurious comparisons. Women never used to project themselves before as they do now, who's fault is this. You sit outside Pakistan and talk about what is happening in there with those who have lived all of their lives there. Amazing overconfidence I see here.....
Before assuming about me anything, you need to be careful. I am not living in a bubble, you are. I have lived in Pakistan more than you claim you know in a matter of few days. You tend to make generalization about a whole country in a matter of seconds, and from few incidences and forget what kind of s h i t you live in. I am a regular Jang reader, I have never read about Eve Teasing.
I have never heard this thing happening to any of my relatives because I know they go out in proper dress code and act like modest ladies. I doubt what you and your members do outside, I seriously doubt it. What you don't tell us is what you are doing in the streets. You just tell us what is happening to you which is so lame.
You talk about You She ets etc. I wanna ask you what about other newspapers and why you have to pick up on those that are already too liberal. Where only women of high society do modelling etc. Why would you only pick on those only. There are many more news papers around. If a newspaper talks about it doesn't mean it happenes everywhere in Pkaistan or everyone does it or that Pakistan is a hell to live in. Damit, you and your ideas are so lame.........
May be YOU are too unaware of the statistics in USA about women abuse and the stats of women living with men without marriage? May be you have never read about the woemn beaten and physically abused by their "Boyfriends"... Is that all legal? What is the relative percentage?
What is the percentage of women in Pakistan doing it? Please enlighten me? what is the percentage of Pakistani women who dance naked in Pubs and dance clubs (Don't quite me those exceptions improperly representing the society) What is the percentage of Pakistani women who are gang raped in the name of "Orgies". Please kindly enlighten me? Or open up a F****** book that could teach you about all this.
Open up your eys. You seem to have been traumatized in the past what makes you blind of everything and you look at Pakistan in this maner. I can further educate you about your heaven (Western Societies) and make a correct comparison if you want.......... But I hate to do that. And you'd not like it either.
Re: Hindustani women fight 'Eve teasing'
By writting all that, I am not denying these things absolutely do not happen or that Pakistan is an ideal pleace wihout a single crime.
So don't write a reply reflecting that on me.
Re: Hindustani women fight 'Eve teasing'
Why do we always find these India Bashing News only in Pakistani websites. Why not in some neutral websites like BBC or CNN. !!!
