BHUBANESWAR: India successfully tested on Sunday a surface-to-surface supersonic Brahmos cruise missile developed jointly with Russia, official sources said. “Sunday’s test was routine. A user trial,” a defence official told AFP.

The missile had been previously tested on February 4. The missile was fired from a mobile launcher from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur-on-sea, official sources said.

First tested in June 2001, the missile named after India’s Brahmaputra River and Russia’s Moskva River, has a range of 290 kilometres and can carry a 300-kilogram conventional warhead. agencies

How many hundereds of tests does Hindustan need to carry out to actually make this missile successful?

I mean, Pakistan tested it’s Babur cruise missile first time successfully with a 500 km range and then tested it again (second or third time) with an increased range of 700 km. While Hindustan is doing the same test over and over again with no improvments!
