Knowing that Sikhi is a comparatively new religion and as discussed above Hindus and Muslims converted to it, so there must be some converts not from the similar castes as mentioned. So do Hindus also are at ease to marry those converts?

Actually castes were same across religions, Hindu khatri=Sikh Khatri=Muslim Sheikh, like Najam Sethi is ethnically similar to Permeet sethi. similarly Hindu Jaat= Sikh Jatt= Muley Jaat, Hindu Rajput= sikh Rajput= meo rajput.
Hence when people converted from one religion to another there caste system were more or less intact. Hence there conversion in Sikhi didn’t affect local customs much. And caste system despite being opposed by Sikhi in theology but Sikhs still do have castes and marry with in castes.
