Re: Hindus - Sikhs
Hinduism doesn’t know of any other religion, according to Hinduism every one is hindu, the word Naastik means non believer, loosely referring non believer in god as well non believer in sacred text, the relgion is poorly coded as well. During vedic times anyone can marry in any caste. then it became rigid, and marriage came under caste conditions, Sikhi is the only religion that Hindus agreed to marry because all castes in sikhi like Brahmin, Jats, Khatris, Aroras, Chammars are found in Hinduism as well, there is no social and ethnic difference between two castes following two religions, Some of Brahmins, especially Mohyal, descendent of warrior Brahmin Parshuram followed the tradition of raising elder son of the family as Sikh, they are now called Brahmin Sikhs and the culture of inter marrying is followed even to this day.
