I know ramayana, ravana having 10 heads are all myths.....hindus worship kali...it is a myth...i accept it. Besides, it is their belief their life!

Besides, if you have any proof that it is not a myth, then tell me that.

Moreover, i am an agnostic....i dont associate with one particular religion or no religion at all......I will not cofirm the existence of god nor will deny it. I want to go or believe what my mind says or my logic says!

Talking about myths, i will say this here. everybody seems to be pointing out myths in other faiths. Let me point myths in islam

There is a "story" that reports a "fable" that Muhammad, one night, rode on Buraq, a winged horse, that flew him from some mosque and from there to the seventh heaven in the sky where he was shown the hells and the paradises and then taken to the presence of Allah

winged horse???.....heaven and hell??

somebody said he travelled at the speed of light (which violates the very law of science actually), it takes nearly 8 years to travel around the solar system and nearly 25 billion years to reach the farthest points of this universe if muhammad could travel from medina to the place of allah in a "winged horse(?????)", in one day, then allahs place must not be far off from medina......... talk about "myths"....good..every faith seems to have myths

Well I can see Abu Lahab, in the making well just joking even he asked the same question to all the companions and marketed the same as above. Great the faces change, the names change but the thinking remains the same.

Well , I know the Quran is the truth I can provide ample evidences of it. Well thats secondary, if this has to be a myth then the Quran is false in the sense its not from Allaah.

okay..so wikipedia is giving contradicting views…so who can give better answers? It can only be myself…having born, brought up in a predominantly such a society!. Besides, if there is anyone who realllyyy wants to worship cows, then let them…hinduism is a unorganized faith…rules are not dictated regarding what to do and what not do…let them, it is their life…

It is YOU who keep telling not to bring it from wikipedia…I brought the link from wikipedia to Phatima and not for you. If she had any doubts, then it is for her to ask.

There are muslims who claim that they are "oppressed" and bomb innocent civilians in suicide attacks. Can I claim that all muslims are terrorists?Or islam a blood thirsty religion?

Your answer is certainly "NO"
If some muslims misinterpret Islam I cant give islam a bad name, can I?

If no, then some hindus misinterpret hinduism and worship cows....
That does not mean hinduism is wrong....

So the bottom line is :

If all hindus are cow worshippers, all muslims are terrorists

end of discussion!!!!!

PS: Please dont try to teach hindus their own religion

(Most muslims feel opressed even if they have complete freedom to dress, worship, eat, celebrate their festivals in absolute freedom)

if you follow hinduism you are called hindu, then hindus don't eat cow,
if you eat cow by default you become non hindu, because you don't believe in religion, and just for record sake you are a hindu

well…it doesnt matter whether u call hinduisum a religion sent down by god or not. The bottomline is we all are same except our belief. we all have to work ,eat to survive. as a person u follow islam but other than ur beliefs what makes u different from other human being.dont u have to breathe air or ur belief brings u great luck. noone knows what is there after death so that is useless to talk about.its only the belief which u follow rest everything is same.

However, the intent of these practice is to tell that all life is valuable. God creation is to be cherished. Hinduism never tells that this is animal is good and this is bad (Haram and Halal)

Cow is worshipped because, it was the embodiment of all the Good and God in this world. We believe that every part of the cow is represents a certain diety like Shiva, vishnu, rushi, muni, etc. Worshipping a cow is like worshipping all the dieties.

Absolutely. There is no doubting that even the plants are valuable. Do you really want to know all the trees that are worshipped by Hindus? Probably Hinduism is “the religion” which treats all life are valuable.
