^Yes it is and present almost every society / religion in one or other form. Although Islamic teachings never allowed discrimination based on nationality / cast but then we have issues like Syed / Non-Syed, Arab / Non-Arab.

Sir that is why Islam call these concepts the concepts of ignorance
