As I was surfing thru dish network channels I saw this lady wearing sindoor matching with her outfit. It was a lime green. She looked scary. Whats the rule on the color of sindoor? Is there one?

No no. I know what sindoor is and I swear it was coloured. She had this lime green thing in the hair partition and then this long line running all the way down her foreherd for the bindi in the exact same colour. I guess it must be some trend. Was it traditionally red for a reason or just?
