Judaism is approximately 4000 years Old and Hinduism is approximately 6000 years old, the beliefs are radically different. Which God is right, Hindu or Abrahamic?
Re: Hindu vs Abrahamic Faith
why dont you start by telling us what you think regarding the query?
Re: Hindu vs Abrahamic Faith

Re: Hindu vs Abrahamic Faith
Sorry kids Islam is a derivative of Judaism/Christianity and that too a a hodge podge between the old testament and new testament. Question is more for the Hindus and Jews that rarely frequent this forum. I am quite atuned to the roted replies from the Mullahtooos. Take a break.
Re: Hindu vs Abrahamic Faith
The God of Hindus, Abrahamics, Muslims, Jews, buddhists, Chrisitians, and others is ONE.
Re: Hindu vs Abrahamic Faith
Hinduism is a derivative of deviated paths of Islam. Prophets were given stature of the avataar of God and idolism came into existence.
Christains and Jews were early Muslim nations who transgressed against their faith and one was punished and other was lost.
Re: Hindu vs Abrahamic Faith
^ obviously Jews/Christians dont think that way, but hey whatever makes you happy. Now lets hear a non-muslim perspective, What say you O AQ?
Re: Hindu vs Abrahamic Faith
^ dont think so hard AQ, it may cause you to loose your hair (if you havent lost already).

Re: Hindu vs Abrahamic Faith
bascially islam is kind of a cut and paste of judaism and christianity made up for the arabs in the 7th century. But enough about latter day religions and prophets and such...
All paths lead to the same...the same is profundity...you call it yahweh, I call it ishvar...tomato tomaato...
Re: Hindu vs Abrahamic Faith
^ correction, copy and paste. Cut implies that the original was deleted.
Re: Hindu vs Abrahamic Faith
depends on the usefulness of what is cut
Re: Hindu vs Abrahamic Faith
monotheists of one religion can, and often do, consider the monotheistic god of a different religion to be a false god. For instance, many Christian fundamentalists consider the God of Islam (Allah) to be a false god or demon. However, theologians and linguists argue that “Allah” is merely the Arabic word for “God,” and not the literal name of a specifically Muslim god (to Muslims, the bible is a holy scripture and Jesus is a prophet, so Christianity might be seen as a subset of Islam).
Monotheism can be divided into different types on the basis of its attitude to polytheism: inclusive monotheism claims that all polytheistic deities are just different names for the single monotheistic God; Smartism, a denomination of Hinduism, follows this belief, holds that God is one but has different aspects and can be called by different names, and its beliefs dominate the view of Hinduism in the West; exclusive monotheism, on the other hand, claims that these deities are false and distinct from the monotheistic God, either invented, demonic, or simply incorrect, as Vaishnavism, a denomination of Hinduism, regards the worship of anyone other than Vishnu. Exclusive monotheism is a well-known tenet in the beliefs of the Abrahamic religions.
Re: Hindu vs Abrahamic Faith
^^ thankyou… while i totally understand monotheism my question is more along the lines of who is right… and if hinduism is older than judaism then maybe judaism is derived out of hinudism… thats what i was trying to derive at.
Re: Hindu vs Abrahamic Faith
both are completly different . both view creation in differently hindus view of creation “who knows” others have a starting point 5000 years ago?
THEN was not non-existent nor existent: there was no realm of air, no sky beyond it.
What covered in, and where? and what gave shelter? Was water there, unfathomed depth of water?
2 Death was not then, nor was there aught immortal: no sign was there, the day’s and night’s divider.
That One Thing, breathless, breathed by its own nature: apart from it was nothing whatsoever.
3 Darkness there was: at first concealed in darknew this All was indiscriminated chaos.
All that existed then was void and form less: by the great power of Warmth was born that Unit.
4 Thereafter rose Desire in the beginning, Desire, the primal seed and germ of Spirit.
Sages who searched with their heart’s thought discovered the existent’s kinship in the non-existent.
5 Transversely was their severing line extended: what was above it then, and what below it?
There were begetters, there were mighty forces, free action here and energy up yonder
6 Who verily knows and who can here declare it, whence it was born and whence comes this creation?
TheGods are later than this world’s production. Who knows then whence it first came into being?
7 He, the first origin of this creation, whether he formed it all or did not form it,
Whose eye controls this world in highest heaven, he verily knows it, or perhaps he knows not.
Re: Hindu vs Abrahamic Faith
^^ Interesting and thank you once again.
What I find interesting in the above link and also in Abrahamic faiths is that they basically revolve around the solar system i.e Sun and our planets. nothing beyond that.
The stuff you posted above is quite complicated no wonder why the jews simplified it to Adam Eve and God being pissed at eating apples, Xtians and Musli’s followed suit.
Re: Hindu vs Abrahamic Faith
Judaism might be 4000 years old which is the religion with seromonies, rules and regulation of a nation. The religion or worship of the God that Judaism worships is much much older. In fact, the Bible trace it back for more than 6000 years.
Do you want to compare a specific cult of a religion with another religion?
Re: Hindu vs Abrahamic Faith
The oldest known religion is the African Vodoun, and I would assume that Hinduism came from it. There are a lot of similiraties between Hinduism and many African religions. It's a sad fact that Western and developed nations have totally ignored African religions mostly because they are black religions, therefore unworthy.
