Re: Hindu Terrorits massacre Muslims in the Lankan war
You'd be living in a shell to deny the reality of religious and sectarian violence in India (especially in Gujrat). I agree that Pakistan has been "exposed as a terror hub" to the mainstream media. Pakistan definetley has a larger 'terrorism' problem on the international level, but just as there were terrorists in Ireland (i.e. IRA with the protestants vs catholics) and Indonesia (East Timor), there are many groups and individuals in India that also terrorize certain groups, sects, religious demographics, and communities.
Indian's aren't necessarily the most peace-loving peope either... but that is not an attack at India, rather it's a fact of life. To live in an environment with mostly peace-loving individuals would be living in a utopia.
And we all know that utopia's are fictitious.
Its wrong to term the Gujarat riots as terrorism. They were communal riots where Hindus killed Muslims in response to Muslims burning Hindus in the train. Would you call the 1947 partition riots terrorism too ?? What happened in Gujarat was condemnable and has no place in a secular country like India. Those guilty (including the politicians) should be brought to justice.
The recent Bombay blasts are terrorism - they were unprovoked, cowardly acts of violence against innocent targets. And yes, it was Islamic terrorism as evidenced by the involvement of SIMI & LeT.
