Even if we assume the author isn't fabricating statements, It's amusing to see how quick you are to insist that TV messages demanding Kashmiris/Muslims leave Jammu are all being broadcast by the APHC in the guise of Hindu extremists...but its absolutely inconceivable that this alleged press release couldn't possibly have been put out by the Indian government to play up the threat against Pandits.
So the muslims are runninng away because of some " threats" on TV channel ...... i mean no one has been killed ..... at least 100+ pandits were killed before they migrated from Kashmir ....... why are the muslims running away from Jammu ... or is it that they are not from Jammu originally but have made their home in Jammu in recent past and just want to get away till conditions settle down .....
Hurriayat has no answer to this ...... so they are claiming that people from outside the state have come in to do the rioting .......but it is ordinary people of Jammu - women and kids included who are protesting as they have always been sidelined by the valley politics.

It was Indias continuous rigging of elections, using politicians and then throwing them in jail at their will, India interfered too much, when it had no need of doing so. Then the bored mujahideen who had nothing to do after kicking the Russians out of Afghanistan found a new playground - Kashmir Sad really. I’m not even going to bother asking you whether you admit that the central government interfered too much in internal affairs of Kashmir which it shouldnt have, cos i know you’re going to either concoct up some stuff or deny it.

I think you are generally right though I may question what you consider too much interference. The problem is that there was so much mischief by Pakistan that the centre had to intervene a lot more than was otherwise necessary.

Hizbul mujahedin has got nothing to do with the afghan mujahedin ........ they were the militant arm of the jamat islami pakistan ......

What you've said is true, but it comes down to the fact of the border not being secured well enough. (LOC is hard to keep secure, I know, but if India can keep funding siachen, I'm sure it wouldn't be that hard to keep kargil LOC militarised for longer periods during the year.
Too much interference, en example: too much vote rigging, kashmiris had silently continued with over 3 decades of rigging, 1989 with some stirring from foreign forces blew the lid. I don't think it is fair to blame the kashmiris for it at all. People can only take so much of something, we're all humans :S
Jamat e Islami's core is Afghani :S. You cant really differentiate Afghani/Pakistani mujahideen anyway, especially when you talk about the 1980s.
At the start of the militancy in the valley, it was primarily the Kashmiri militants that were involved ..... JKLF and Hizb. ....... it was only in later 90's that militants from Pakistan and Afghansitan started joining in ..... for last so many years Salahudin is the head of Hizb .... hope you know who he is ?
When Muzaffarabad/RWP Hwy is open linking Occupied Kashmir to Azad Kashmir, people of J&K can rely on supplies via Pakistan w/out any blockade.
If Pakistan can serve a supplyline to Afghanistan for its people and Coalition forces, then i don't see why we can't extend the same to Occupied Kashmir.
On the note of fanaticism, i think they're a minority where the mainstream Hindu folks would not do that to muslims. Fanatics are often brainwashed and misguided from the true teaching of their respective religions/faiths/beliefs. I still wouldn't lay the blame of such individuals on the entire community of Hindu followers. The actions of a few should not dictate the consequences for the entire community.

सांबा : तिरंगे में लिपटे शहीदों के शवों को नम आंखों से सांबा में हजारों लोगों ने श्रद्धांजलि दी। सांबा में शहीद हुए युवकों की जब शव यात्रा निकली तो पूरा आसमान संजीव सिंह अमर रहे, सन्नी पाधा अमर रहे के नारों से गूंज उठा। लोग जब तक सूर्य चांद रहेगा संजीव व सन्नी तेरा नाम रहेगा के नारे लग रहे थे। सोमवार को सांबा में तिरंगे लेकर शांतिपूर्वक प्रदर्शन कर रहे लोगों पर तैनात पुलिस कर्मियों व अधिकारियों ने पहले लाठीचार्ज, आंसू गैस के गोले और फिर गोलियां बरसाने से दो युवक शहीद हो गए थे और लगभग दर्जन भर घायल हो गए थे, जिनमें महिलाएं भी शामिल थीं। इस गोलीबारी में शहीद हुए संजीव सिंह पुत्र कैप्टन चंचल सिंह निवासी संगवाली मंडी व सन्नी पाधा पुत्र खेमराज का मंगलवार को पूरे सम्मान के साथ अंतिम संस्कार कर दिया गया। संजीव सिंह का अंतिम संस्कार बसंतर श्मशान घाट पर जबकि सन्नी पाधा का अंतिम संस्कार देविका श्मशान घाट पर किया गया। शहीद संजीव सिंह की शव यात्रा मंडी संगवाली से निकली और फिर हरि सिंह चौक में लोगों ने दो घंटों तक शव रख श्रद्धांजलि दी। सांबा निवासियों की मांग थी कि जब तक राज्य के उच्च प्रशासनिक अधिकारी यहां नहीं पहुंचते तब तक वह शव को यहां से नहीं उठाएंगे। लोगों की मांग थी कि सरकार शहीद संजीव सिंह की पत्नी को सरकारी नौकरी दे और परिवार को दस लाख रुपये की आर्थिक सहायता उपलब्ध कराएं। ऐसे ही शहीद सन्नी पाधा के घर के एक सदस्य को सरकारी नौकरी व दस लाख रुपये दिए जाने की मांग की गई। लगभग दो घंटे तक हरि सिंह चौक में शहीद के शव को रखकर बैठे लोगों को श्री अमरनाथ संघर्ष समिति के प्रधान लीला करण ने बताया कि सुरक्षा कारणों से कोई भी उच्च अधिकारी सांबा नहीं पहुंच सकता। उन्होंने कहा कि अभी संघर्ष समिति के फंड का खाता नहीं खुला है परन्तु फिर भी संघर्ष समिति की ओर से सभी शहीदों को बराबर पैसा बांटा जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि उनकी हर संभव मदद की जाएगी। इस मौके पर श्री अमरनाथ संघर्ष समिति के प्रधान लीलाकर्ण, भाजपा के प्रदेश पूर्व प्रधान डा. निर्मल सिंह, प्रदेश उपप्रधान चंद्र प्रकाश गंगा, अमरनाथ संघर्ष समिति सांबा के सदस्य, बुद्धिजीवी व सभी मंडियों के लोग उपस्थित थे।
