By most accounts, the Kashmir conflict didn't begin till around September of 1989, so by the time the exodus began, violence in Kashmir was no more than 5 months old. The violence in Gujarat went on from February-May 2002, a period of about 4 months. Nor did the atmosphere in Gujarat return to "normalcy" thereafter; 5 years after the riots, more than 20,000 Muslims remained in refugee camps (official figure). Many of the "rehabilitated" Muslims returned home only to find that their towns and villages had been declared "Muslim-free" and were forced to live in the new Muslim ghettoes of urban Gujarat.

Nor is there any evidence of a "systematic effort" to ethnically cleanse the Pandits. As I already pointed out...a grand total of 109 Pandits were killed through 1990, and even the government admits that the militants killed more Muslims in those days than Pandits.

what i really admire that these people have mastery in manipulating the figures....gujrat riots did not continue for 4 months...(these people never talk why riots took place in gujarat)...muslims are still living in gujarat whereas hindus have left kashmir....as usual it has been there history...first cleasing of un-beleivers by any means...play the victim game and then grab more lands....i am sure that the world community has understood their ugly tactics...no doubt these people are left with no sympathy....we have to wait till the world community decides to talk openly of their dirty politics sheduled on behalf of religion.

Gujrata riots lasted for three days.. 700 odd muslims got killed 300 odd hindus.. Mind you majority of hindus fell to the bullet of police.. yeah apparently same police who was somehow aiding rioters.. I guess that is some novel way of aiding rioters where you kill them....

Gujrata police was not sleeping like Delhi police in 1984 yes in that case not even single rioter was hurt and hence it can be said police were sleeping but to acucse police of abetting or even inaction when they end up killing around 300 rioters smacks of unadluterated prejudice..

That never happened in Kashmir. In many cases, the police themselves joined in the rape, pillage, and murder of Muslim civilians. That only happened to pro-independence Pandits in Kashmir.

Ultimately, over 150,000 Gujarati Muslims were internally displaced; years later, tens of thousands were still living in squalor in refugee camps after their villages were proudly declared “Muslim flee.” Those who did manage to return now live in walled off ghettoes.

Everyone knew on some level who was beind 9/11. You werent there on 9/11. I was in NY. The NYPD were on Atlantic Avenue where there are many Arab stores and ordering them to close down to avoid any kind of incident.
And it didnt take long for people to figure out who was behind the attacks, and yet I never felt threatened in NY or anywhere else I went.

As for Godhara, you know as well as anyone that the details of the events didnt come out till afterwards. How can you know the exact details of the event as soon as it happens? I though the Indian democracy believed in innocent until roven gulty? There was no proper investigation to establish the guilty party.
