Will remain a black day in the history of secular India. But there are many more facts which would put hindus on high pedestal.
Let me summarize it for U, Babri masjid was demolished by hindu extremists on Dec. 6th 1992. Exactly 20 years back. The government of the day in UTTAR PRADESH the state where it all happened was headed by right wing BJP, Kalyan singh was the chief minister.
Right after the unfortunate incident, PM Narsimha Rao dismissed the Kalyan Singh Government and imposed the president rule in India. About 6 months later, elections were held again in UP. Kalyan Singh and BJP were sure to come back to power because they had done what they thought was ultimate wish of HIndu majority. But they were living in fools paradise, as the election results suggested. They lost the elections and were uprooted from power. A clear indication of how hindu majority felt after the demolition of Mosque.
