Hindu origin, would Supreme Court also

Supreme Court delivering its recent judgment on wedding meals which is being termed as landmark judgment has in its decision stated that ceremonies like Mehndi (henna), Mayou, Dholki etc are of Hinidu origin and against Islamic concept. It is really nice of the learned Judges. When name of Islam has been used then is it not that a Muslim can bow his head only before Allah and not before any man. So would the learned judges first act on their Islamic love and declare in Pakistani courts bowing of advocates before the upper court judges and calling them as My Lord banned terming those too as hindu origin. Independent scholar says My Lord is only Allah.

Henna has nothing to do with hinduism, it was used by Egyptions for quite some time. Religion MUST be kept out and locked up at home/mosque/church/temple/HEARTS...

looks like your likes are the ones who need to be kept out of pubilc....ISLAM must rule over all land regardless of what the people want or desire.

And know that, among you there is the Messenger of Allâh (SAW). If he were to obey you in much of the matter, you would surely be in trouble, but Allâh has endeared the Faith to you and has beautified it in your hearts, and has made disbelief, wickedness and disobedience hateful to you. These! They are the rightly guided ones, (Al-Hujurat 49:7)

Yeah, supreme court of Pakistan is a sham, but then arent all our institutions?!
One thing these fantaics and fundamentalist never do in their zeal to define everything as unIslamic is clearly define what IS Islamic. What can we do to celebrate a wedding? What constitutes an Islamic wedding?
But ofcourse they will say just seperate the men from the women and stare at the walls for a few hours, and possibly get something to eat, but by no means should you enjoy yourself, for enjoyment is UnIslamic and horrible sin.

Forget the many other sins in our country such as honor killing and child abuse and spousal abuse and focus on the few Inocent joys of life.
And forget that no Muslims will every agree on one interpretation of any doctrine of Islam, just give one interpretation for everyone.
This is why religion and state cant mix, state has to make practical laws that can be applied and changed when needed. Religion is open to interpretation, and it doctrine tend to be static and unchangeing even in the face of change circumstances. Religous based laws are so vague, uncompramising and inconsistent.

so i guess you would disagree with the islamic society based in madina during the time of rasul :saw: calling his laws ignorant stupid and barbaric and deserving only for animals.

ban on food in punjab which is granary of southasia is very rediculous
and also in the name of religen.

even though Allah (SWT) says in Quran that Islam is for all mankind and for all times? are we negating what Allah (SWT) is saying.... this is a question for those who believe in Quran of course.

yep, makes no sense what so ever... I don't think it is in force anymore, is it? ... as far as Mehndi and all is concerned as long as Islamic values are not compromised I don't see anything wrong in that.

how about proving bride is virgin after first night ? is islamic origin?

^ ask your mufti

So driving cars, flying in a plane, surfing the net, modern medicine, talking in english etc etc which are western concepts are also all against Islam.

^ Now where did u get these ideas from?

If things of Hindu origin are against Islamic concepts, then wouldn't the same be true of things of western (christian) origin.

technically speaking anything that is in violation of Islamic values/teachings/laws are the ones that should not be adopted by Muslims regardless of it being from Hindu, Christian, Buddhism, or even Islamic societies and cultures...

but having said that I don't think Supreme Court is in any position (leaving aside the powers that they have) to pick and choose what is un-Islamic and ignore many other practices that are in clear violation of Islamic laws, such landmark decisions are political stunts... they should take care of the bigger issues at hand that affects millions of people in their daily lives before interfering in people's personal affairs… social evils are best addressed by bringing out the awareness instead of forcing the issue down people’s throats…

Is being Hindu in Pakistan also means that one has Hindu origin? This is utterly and totally confusing to me. I can deduce two conclusion here:

First conclusion is # (1) – SC judges have too much time on their hand. They can find better use of free time by either surfing the net or masturbate in chambers.

Second conclusion is # (2) – one of their daughters is about to be wed, and the cheap fuker is looking for ways to save money by coming up with this garbage, so he wouldn’t spend money on big Shadi Party. Moron.
