Hindu man set on fire in East London ‘for dating Muslim girl’

Police were appealing for witnesses today following the attempted murder of a man who was doused in petrol and set on fire in east London.
The 20-year-old, who is fighting for his life in hospital, was torched as he sat in his car in Forest Gate.
It is believed the Hindi victim, who suffered 65 per cent burns in the attack, was targeted because he was dating a Muslim girlfriend.
He had just parked his car, a green Honda Prelude, in St George’s Road when he was approached by the suspect or suspects and had petrol poured over him before being set alight.
He managed to get out of the vehicle and was discovered nearby before being taken to hospital and transferred to a specialist burns unit where he remains in a critical condition.
A police spokesman said: “Officers were called to the scene at 6am last Thursday to reports of a man on fire.”
DI Sam Faulkner, from the violent crime unit at Forest Gate said: “This was a very nasty attack and the victim remains in a critical condition.
“We are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward and would particularly like to hear from anyone who saw the suspect making off.”
Two men aged 20 and 21 have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and released on bail.
Today’s appeal comes as a 15-year-old girl and a man in his 20s are both still critically ill after being set alight in two separate attacks in the Greater London area last weekend.

How stereotypical! Where in the article does it even identify the suspects? hmmm...maybe it was Hindu suspects who were upset with him for going out of tradition and dating a meat-eating Muslim girl!

When some people start using their brains and eyes instead of foaming at the mouth b/c of their own stupid agendas..... the rudeness will gradually cease :)

maybe the suspects were drunk n they mistook/mistake him for a car-thief? GTA 4 is the trend these days n its very easy to mistake someone for a car-thief n set him on fire if guns/bombs are not available urgently.
the majority of the pakistani population is punjabi in london..and it is known that generally punjabi people are very agressive..add to that that the young muslim boyz in london drink and are spoiled(rich businessmen's sons)...and then add to that the extremism mullah move coming back in UK and u have this..a recipe of disaster.
and then the 2 suspects get out on bail just because they have money..well most of them are rich n spoiled over there.

This seems a racist statement to me. What make you beleive that suspects are Muslims?

what makes me bleieve is that the girl was muslim..so it must have been a blow to the honour of the muslims..their women are there 'izzat' and when they feel their issat has been played with...they're not very happy. it's just my pov..no one has 2 agree.

it's not POV as I said. You mean that anyone who does that must be muslim. That's only an ASSUMPTION. It really could be that any of the hindu boy's family members might have done it. Quite a possibility as well...
So based on assumption, we do not start calling names and all.. do we?

In it there is no mention of any religious affiliation … The article are nearly identical I think someone borrowed this one and reworded it with the extra details. Also notice there is no Muslim girlfriend in the story and there is no mention of Hindu either.
Again no mention of religion … again no girlfriend mentioned.
The LondonPaper does not have a journalist’s name and it is not a mainstream paper either. They have cleverly written that “it is believed” without giving any details on ho believes so and so.
The story seems to be modified and created in to hate article … no mainstream newspaper is taking up this story … why?
