Let us assume you have personal contact that give you a reason not to believe it. Have you shared your contacts with some guppies here - else why would they like your assertion about this being not believable? What is their reason? I wonder if they too have " personal contacts" in Kara hi - in other words they have their made up apriori

Any comments about what moulana kaleem siddiqui is doing in india and why such large numbers are converting?

These news papers are not to be trusted as just recently in kumaris case they have been proven wrong.

If you’re forced to conver into ANY religion, you’re not concerting.

You can be branded a religion! If you’re hear isnt in it, neither are you.

Any non-believer can walk into a masjid and follow the Imaam. But if he doesnt understand WHY he’s praying, WHO he is praying to, and WHAT he is saying… is he praying? Or is her just mimicking the Imaam’s body movements?

If these stories are true or not isnt the issue. It’s the fact that people believe that by threat and fear you can make someone love, appriciate, or believe the world’s most peaceful religion. :hinna:

Tell that to the idiots who think they are getting a one way ticket to heaven in the after life for “converting” a Non Muslim.

you should never dilute the severity of a crime such as this with such comments. Its an injustice to the victim more then anything else.

What others do is irrelevant, we should hold ourselves to a higher standard if indeed we believe we are the true faith, don't you agree?

Since most of us do not live in Karachi and are trying to have a dialog on this issue on a forum, can you please write down your thoughts (instead of pointing towards someone contact in Karachi) and explain to us the reasons why you think that these stories about forced conversions are false/madeup.

This is a shame.

I am surprised at Ninja liking bao biharis post. If there was any doubt you cannot think with clarity and fairness when it comes to this topic this removes it. You had an opportunity to express solidarity with this girls case. But you chose to like a post that was extremely insensitive to the girl and similar girls' situation that Nikema described.

I make this factual statement (from my perspective) as a poster and human being and not as a moderator.

Given the powers i will not hesitate to shoot a person who rapes an innocent girl weather hindu or christian and tries to forcefully convert her to islam...
there is no place for forceful conversion to islam....noway i will never support it but that does noyt mean i should accept every piece of news shown on tv...m i?

No , this is to assert my point that this hype of so called forced conversions is just fake.

BTW read some stories of “forced” conversions in india, what is forcing indian hindus to revert is making pakistani hindus to come back to islam.

First I did not feel it even necessary to state my sympathies are with the Muslims and the tribal folks who got killed. My posts in last 2 years will not yield one post where I have been intolerant of any religion. If I have been and you bring it to my attention I will sincerely and humbly apologize

i think i have told you the reason.

The link i posted before contains reversion stories of 2 of those sisters, plus being some what active in karachi over some fronts including revert muslims i know personaly that these stories are fake.

i also offered that you can send any one to meet the reverts in karachi.

What else do you want? to confirm a story which has no solid grounds and when similar stories like kumaris case have been proven false by supreme courts.
