What progressive thoughts are we talking about?
Hindus are ‘proud’ to follow the ‘same primitive thing’ for thousands of years stating that stone worshiping is the oldest religeon.
Not to mention cow, monkeys (hanuman jee) worshiping etc. Cow urine drinking or taking urine in tablets form. Walking half nude on street (Jogi, sanyasi baba), taking religeous shower in dirty rivers are just addition to the progressive thoughts. Killing female widows is just an icing to the cake!

Essa teachings gradually over time till last prophet PBUH.

The actual hatred the indian kids are taught through books, indian people by the media but has gone unnoticed for many many years is what can clearly be seen by the indians’ attitude to Pakistanis in the real world. If no one is teaching them, why does it take place? Pakistanis are waking up to the reality NOW but this extreme hatred/extremist attitude by indians towards Pakistanis has been going on since years… since I was a kid… since long before that… But as I was not able to mention to anyone. Especially cz I knew hardly any Pakistani would believe it (including my parents) provided how ‘carefree’, ‘broadminded’ of other people’s attitudes they are. If only they were a little more observant and sensitive to the environment around them, the environment full of hate, degratory attitude of indians towards Pakistanis, it would make them wonder where all that hate originates from and then remains. From where? Does it naturally takes birth in the heart of each and every indian individual? Or are they taught to behave like that when it comes to Pakistanis? If it is a natural birth then indian are terrorists by nature. If they are taught so then if there are any peaceful indians, they need to get rid of those 80% of terrorists they are hiding in their land but very proudly showing off the label of ‘The biggest democratic nation’ to the world.
I pray to God, it doesnt take too long until the world realises who the real ‘terrorists’ are, where they are made and how they spread around the world in huge numbers and what their agenda is (killing the believers - Muslims, Christains, Jews).

Do you know, I also used to think this was and ‘old generation’ thing. The new people, new generation dont care. They are tolerant, friendly, peace-loving. So much of my imagination when I got to see and experience it first hand from indian girls in their early 20s (my age), and 30s and guys in the late 20s when I was being ‘friendly’ and happy to an extent of stupidity.
Always left me wondering… what have I done to make them hate me this much? Im only behaving good. What’s up with their rudeness? Why to me? They are very happy talking to eachother. In a period of 14 months, I solved that mystery. It was cz I was a PAKISTANI, LOLLLL

Well I dont really know if Indians hate Pakistanis more or its the other way round. I guess it is definitely a mutual feeling - and we will never be able to conclude which sides is a bigger hater...
But my view on this issue is that definitely there are many Indians and Hindus who hate Pakistanis and Muslims. Some of that I have observed is in the better off sections of the society and one of the reasons that I have clearly seen is that these Hindus feel that the govt does too many things for minorities (I know this shocks the rest of the world but all the reservation and vote bank politics of India actually does mean that Muslims and other minorities do get some reservations/prviledges and advantages...etc etc...add to that the feeling (not saying its true) but the feeling that Muslims are more aggressive, want to spread their religion etc etc and so are a pain ... hence dislike Muslims...and as a natural progression...dislike Pakistan (well thats the nation they asked for and got...so why dont they all go and setlle there and leave India for good).
These are sad thoughts indeed but I know for a fact that among a few Hindus, this is strongly believed. Also, before RSS/VHP/BJP, Hindus also had the feeling that while Muslims are so aggressive, Hindus are too weak and submissive..and so when you had the RSS brigade showing all that stupid aggression, they got followers very easily and it has lead India to its present state (of having incidents like in Gujarat). Its worse than fundamentalist Islamic militants coz they have a cause they believe in (right or wrong is diff issue) but there are these HIndu militants who are being militant just to react to Islamic fundamentalist (or lack of employment maybe) - those guys are sad ones..
But TNWB, I hope you do not keep a generalised opinion of all Indians the way you express here and in some other threads. Each nation has its share of rotten apples and that applies to India as well as Pakistan - if it makes you feel better to believe that India has greater share of those that Pakistan, so be it.
I have Pakistanis in office and many Indians as well and so far, all have been very good to each other and dont really treat each other as being from enemy countries. Hope you have better luck with the other Indians you meet...

in all honesty, this is very surprising. even my parents, who both lived through '65 and '71 wars, have no hatred for Pakistanis and have never once mentioned anything against Pakistan. not even one comment…and they are 30-odd years removed from the younger generation. I don’t know where you interacted with young Indians (at work, i think you said), but my observation of Indian and Pakistani youth on university campuses is very different. they are often closer friends of each other than anybody else, including their ABCD counterparts. To think such people hated you simply for being Pakistani is really quite incredible.
amongst all Indians on this forum that are perceived as anti-pakistan and all Pakis that are perceived as anti-India…i have only seen two out of all of these people that genuinely harbor hatred…and that is you and that bollybuster kid. I just don’t think it is healthy. at some point, i think you will step back and realize that your conclusions are ridiculous and unrealistic. hopefully this will happen sooner rather than later.

Your BP is rising now...the doctors and nurses are alarmed..it cannot be good for your health. 99% of the enmity you feel from Indians is justplayful banter to get a rise out of you. I do the same to people form Bengal or gujarat or tamil nadu. It is just playful banter sweetie..don't take things so seriously.
I will tell you something a good friend of mine told me re: india/pak. He used to be the India analyst for S&P until he was pressured to be removed by the INdia n gov't when he down graded their soverign rating in 1999. He said "kuch nahin hoga...yeh India/pakistan, economic growth, lives changing for the masses across the lands between the two countries..kuch nahin hoga.....until the last person from the independence generation is dead" until all this folks die...there will always be mistrust and political idiocy. SO let's pray that these folks die and die soon. SO that we can move on to a better future for south asia.
