I dont think Hindko is going to disappear. There is no reaosn to worry about that. In some areas Hindko is growing - Chach in Attock, and in Hazara. there are many Pashtun tribes unable to speak Pashtu east of the Indus because they adopted Hindko.

I hope that day never comes when all Pakistanis will be able to only speak urdu. It will be a sad day indeed. And its not very likely either.

If you go to Wah and Hassan Abdal they say they speak Punjabi when in fact its either Patwari or Hindko. Proper Punjab actually should start at the Jhelum and east.
