I was talking to a friend who is a diplomat. They have no respect for this deem witted feudal. Its got nothing to do with the fact that she is a woman. The Army, ISI and Zardari have chosen her because they can control her.
So Khoji is right she is a typical PPP jagerdaar. The longer the PPP stay in power, the more I ffear of the future of Pakistan.

Hina Rabani Khar is a brutal feudal who exploits, tortures and brutalises some of the poorest people in Pakistan. Instead we talk about er choice of bags. The quicker we hang these Sindhi and Seraiki waderas, the better.

Whoever wins, Hina Rabani Khar will still be in cabinet. In 2002, she was elected on a PML Q ticket, and served in the Musharaf cabinet. In 2008, she saw which way the wind was blowing and switched to the PPP. The problem with southern Punjab is that these powerful feudals run the show. If Nawaz won in 2013, he would need the support of the Seraiki feudal class, and guess what Hina Rabani Khar would end up in his cabinet. Qureshi, the previous FM was one of the largest Seraiki feudal. Like Khar, he has changed parties continously. Not to mention the Legharis, Khosas, Abasis, Mazaris, e.t.c
We should have followed your example, and carried out land reform, and shoved these waderas into the dustbin of history.

Absolutely, the Khars are some of the most brutal of the Seraiki feudal families. During the floods last year, they were also responsible for diverting the flood waters. They have done nothing to improve the condition of there tenant farmers. If you were a poor kammi for Muzafargarh, and even thought about voting for someone else, you would probably see your daughters raped, sons killed and eventually be thrown out.
Beyond the glamour of Khar lies a brutal nasty and corrupt feudal lord. At least Qureshi had some morals, very little, but morals he had.

Most of the people on their land are bonded, i.e they are paying off a historic debt. Many might not even remember what the orignal debt was. So they work for free, basically slaves. Her uncle was a certain Malik Ghulam Mustafa Khar, who the CM of Punjab in the seventees. There are documented cases of Mustafa Khar being involved in abducting girls.

Pak-India relations were derailed because of what happened in a hotel (Taj Mahal in Bombay). Thats the reason Zardari picked a foreign minister with a degree in hotel management so she can feel their pain better.
