even if Hilary is in the wrong, where is the connection to LGBT people? might as well say, Hillary's deplorable comment panders to ISIS and Saudi Arabia. OP is basically more Trump than Obama.

She had been speaking at an LGBT event in New York on Friday when she made the apparent gaffe.

Hillary Clinton was on cleanup duty Saturday after saying at a fundraiser the previous night that half of Donald Trump’s supporters, which numbered 13.3 millionin the Republican primaries, fall into the “basket of deplorables.”
“Last night I was ‘grossly generalistic,’ and that’s never a good idea," she said in a statement. **“I regret saying ‘half’ **— that was wrong.”

By saying she regretted the use of the word half, she left it open to intepretation. Could be more. Could be less.

Why is this pandering to call out bigots? If she were speaking at a mosque and said the same thing, would you describe her statement as pandering to Muslims?
